 A dark cloud loomed over the Backyard at 2001 Degrees when Midknight, albeit cleanly, ended HitMan's Championship run and became the Backyard champion himself. Well, at Wrong Way: August that cloud loomed no more! HitMan overcame what seemed like insurmountable odds (almost his namesake) to become the first 2 time Backyard Champion in FWF history. Here is a quick overview of the show! Things looked bleak as Marcus Donovan wasted several minutes at Wrong Way mocking his arch-nemesis, and NEW Unified Champion Essential Element. Element came out and was prepared to lay a whuppin' on Donovan but Midknight interrupted claiming that no one cares about the Unified championship but they want to here about their NEW Backyard Champion: HIM. That's when HitMan intervened. He apologized to Element on behalf of Donovan for mocking the Element's efforts in the Unified Tournament. Donovan was none to pleased with that and got in HitMan's face which resulted in HitMan punching Donovan. A fight broke out as the Mad Man Myers came to help Element, HitMan and Midknight went at it, and Criminally Insane tried to save Donovan! Afterwards, The "King of Technical," Southside Crippler is seen staring off into space. He seems down in the dumps, as he has been for the last few shows. An FWF referee asks him "What's Wrong?" Crippler just states that he wishes (Kidnapped President and Owner) TAJ Mahal was around. Referee, Joe suggest that Crippler go find Mahal himself… Meanwhile, Marcus Donovan is having another heated discussion with Commissioner Estavia via cell phone. This might be something to keep your eyes on because Estavia bought Donovan into the FWF and Donovan seems not to be non-to-pleased with his lack of action. Crippler enters and informs Donovan that he is searching for Mahal! Donovan ignores him! Then Midknight enters. The Backyard belt slung across his shoulder he simply expresses his hatred for HitMan to Donovan. Donovan hangs up on Estavia and seems intrigued by that statement. He tells Midknight "Let's talk." Southside Crippler vs. The Brick! Check out this fast-paced match in the Match of the Month section! Afterwards, HitMan is informed by Criminally Insane (Donovan's flunky) that he has a title match tonight against Midknight! HitMan seems kind of uneasy about this sudden decision since it's Donovan (the man he punched) giving him the title shot! Meanwhile, Essential Element is on the phone with the LWA Owner explaining to him that he was cheated out of receiving the Unfied championship. He also explains to him that Blu HaZe and Romeo Diamond, the two newest members of the LWA, didn't show to Wrong Way, possibly over their losses during the Tournament at 2001 Degrees! HITMAN vs. MIDKNIGHT for the Backyard championship! Before the match could get underway, Midknight speared the referee! HitMan went after Midknight immediately after that but the referee was unconscious! While those two duked it out. Criminally Insane dragged the referee to the back. Out came Marcus Donovan announcing himself the special guest referee. Indeed something was rotten in Frederick County that evening. Midknight and Donovan then proceeded to double team and fast count the HitMan to death. Through the grace of god HitMan continuously kicked out! This goes on for a good couple of minutes when Element's music hits, Element is dragging the ref back out, all action in the ring stops as HitMAn looks dead. Midknight tries to cut Element off at the pass but is greeted with a steel chair. Element goes inside after Donovan. The ref crawls into the ring. HitMan musters enough strength to toss Midknight back in. He gets a pinfall attempt but Midknight kicks out. While this is going on Element is kicking Donovan's ass. Midknight goes for the 12 O' clock drop but HitMan turns it into a crucifix for the pinfall victory. Midknight gets back up and spears HitMan! He is fired up but is ejected by HitMan as Element does the same to Donovan. HitMan's music plays as Midknight is pissed off beyond belief. Donovan is dead. HitMan and Element pause for a minute in the ring and shake hands as Wrong Way: AUGUST ends. Results from Wrong Way: September Here is quick look at Wrong Way: September! Donovan suspends Midknight but not without reprecussions! The alliance of Donovan and Midknight at the previous show became a short-lived union, when Midknight demanded Donovan to make a title shot against HitMan and himself that day! Donovan had already given the title shot to (his cronie) Criminally Insane, who would face HitMan later that day! Mdiknight didn't want excuses he wanted the belt! Donovan told him that today wasn't Midknight's day and that he should go relax this show. That wasn't the answer Midknight wanted! Midknight shoved Donovan! Donovan suspended for the entire show! Midknight was only testing the waters now! He shoved Donovan again! Donovan suspended him for three shows! Midknight said "F*ck it! Why don't you just make it for the rest of the year!" With that Midknight speared Donovan clear off the mat and out of his shoes! Midknight sealed his fate in the FWF but I think he will be long remembered for two things: Holding the Backyard Championship and standing up to the shrill Marcus Donovan! Other notes from Wrong Way: Blu HaZe and Romeo Diamond are still upset about their losses in the Unified Tournament and didn't show to this Wrong Way either! Something's brewin' with these two and their LWA partners Mad Man Myers and Element!! HitMan defeated Criminally Insane to retain the Backyard Championship! Southside Crippler has begun interrogating people on the roster and around the LWA Pavillion to find TAJ Mahal! Dead Sexay has issued a challenge at Respect for all comers to try and defeat him! Mad Man Myers, Essntial Element, Southside Crippler, and Mojo Rising battled it out in a 4-man elimination tag match. However Crippler was the only man to get eliminated as the others fought it out to a DQ! The DQ came about when Myers and Element attacked Donovan (who was on commentary) and attempted to kidnap him like they kidnapped TAJ Mahal, last year at Respect! Criminally Insane pulled Donovan's sorry butt out of the frying pan as they sped off from Frederick County!  get wrestling training at the monster factory!
